Account information: name, email address, and authentication details you provide when you sign up or sign in, including via single sign-on providers such as Google.

Profile and workspace data: company and workspace details, team memberships, roles, and the content you and your team create in StartupOS (ideas, plans, documents, deliverables, conversations with AI agents, and similar records).

Usage and technical data: device, browser, IP address, approximate location, referral source, and interaction telemetry such as pages visited and features used.

Communications: records of support requests, feedback, and other messages you send us.

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve StartupOS and its features.
• Authenticate you, secure your account, and enforce access controls such as per-workspace data isolation.
• Process the AI-driven deliverables you request and store the results inside your workspace.
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to security, fraud, and abuse issues.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

For users in the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions with comprehensive privacy laws, we process personal data under the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract — to deliver the StartupOS services you requested.
• Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, and product improvement, balanced against your rights.
• Consent — for optional analytics, marketing, and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Legal obligation — where we must comply with applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

• Service providers that help us operate StartupOS (e.g., hosting, AI model providers, email, analytics), under contracts that limit their use of your data.
• Within your workspace — content you create is visible to your teammates according to the roles and permissions in your workspace.
• Legal compliance — when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to confidentiality and continued protection.

StartupOS uses AI models to generate deliverables on your behalf. Content you provide as input is processed to produce your requested output and is stored within your workspace. We do not use your workspace content to train third-party models, except as required by the model provider you explicitly connect through the Integrations Hub. You control which integrations are enabled.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the services. After account closure, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, accounting, or security reasons.

StartupOS is a cloud-based service and your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for transfers outside regions with adequate privacy protections.

We protect your data with technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and per-workspace data isolation. See our Security overview for more detail.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. StartupOS is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have done so in error, please contact us.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email where appropriate.
